Bloom was an interactive art piece I did to evaluate how people would react to a piece with a simple invitation to “say hi”. Technically the piece mimicked the tone of the person speaking to it, creating a sort of empathy or connection with the user and their tone. Emotional reaction to Bloom as recorded in user testing included: Happiness, Fear, Confusion and Sexual Stimulation.
