Experience Designer & Simulation Specialist
I help organizations turn complex systems into intuitive human experiences — through virtual reality, digital twins, and immersive training environments built for the people who depend on them.
Real-time digital twin of a microchip factory built in Unreal Engine — enabling operations personnel to monitor live tool state, optimize capacity, and reduce downtime through immersive visualization.
A dynamic VR training environment for student firefighters, featuring instructor-controlled scenario updates, AI-driven virtual avatars, and an after-action replay system for structured debrief.
Immersive VR training simulations for oilfield service employees — reducing training costs and improving safety outcomes through realistic, high-fidelity scenario-based learning.
Award-winning submission to NIST's open innovation competition — AR incident command tools for first responders during active shooter scenarios, recognized for advancing communication technology in the field.
Mixed reality visualization for aircraft interior design review — using commercial-grade Canon MR headsets to let engineers inspect CAD data at scale, transforming the design review process.
Ten interactive exhibits combining mixed reality, touch displays, and multimedia projections to tell the story of the Everglades ecosystem — designed for science center visitors of all ages.
Mobile AR application using machine learning to identify high-risk home features — windows, doors, roofing — and deliver personalized wildfire prevention guidance through an interactive spatial interface.
DoD SBIR Phase I proposal for a simulation-based training platform modeling autonomous cargo operations for Space Force — led as Principal Investigator for North Star Simulations.
Designing intuitive, immersive environments where users can explore, learn, and act — through VR, digital twins, and complex simulation systems built for high-stakes contexts.
Connecting emerging technologies with meaningful use cases — translating client goals and human needs into future-forward solutions with measurable impact.
Translating complex problems into thoughtful, scalable experiences by balancing empathy, structure, and deep collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
End-to-end UX from research and wireframes to high-fidelity prototypes — for desktop, mobile, VR interfaces, and real-time 3D environments.
SolidWorks (CSWA certified), AutoCAD, and Revit for technical modeling — bridging the gap between design intent and physical/digital fabrication.
PI and lead designer on DoD, DARPA, and federal contracts — managing cross-functional teams, budgets, and deliverables across multi-year programs.
I'm a curious explorer at heart — always chasing the edge where design, technology, and human behavior intersect.
With over 15 years working across academia, industry, and government, I've designed immersive learning environments for emergency responders, military operators, oil & gas workers, museum visitors, and aerospace engineers. The contexts are different. The core challenge is always the same: make something complex feel human.
I hold an M.S. in Modeling & Simulation from UCF and certifications in SolidWorks (CSWA), AutoCAD, and Revit — because the best designers understand how things are built, not just how they look.
Based in Tulsa, OK. Currently available for full-time roles, consulting engagements, and contract work in simulation, UX, and emerging technology.
